Managing your account and profile



What’s the purpose of the overview page?

The purpose of the overview page is to give you a general idea of the contents of the “My Activities” section and make it easy to access the various sub-sections: My Account (to manage your member account), My Profile (to change and update your professional identity on AgentSolo.com, etc.)

Do I have to create a new account if I want to change my type of membership?

No. Solo Agent Guests who wish to upgrade to Solo Agent Premium Members simply have to go to the section My Activities > My Account and click on "Become a Solo Agent Premium Member."

However, Buyers cannot automatically become Solo Agent Premium Members and vice versa. To make this membership change, please contact the AgentSolo.com assistance service.

What’s the difference between an account and a profile?

The "My Account" section is used to manage your personal information and contact information. You can also keep track of your payments to AgentSolo.com in this section

The "My Profile" section is used to manage your professional online identity as it appears on AgentSolo.com. The profile describes your services, skills and experience. It also serves as a promotional tool targeting prospective Buyers. The information contained in your profile is visible to all visitors to AgentSolo.com

Certain information contained in your account (such as your name, city and region) also appears in your profile.

How do I change my user name?

The user name you chose when you registered is your special identity on AgentSolo.com and is the only element of the profile you can’t change yourself. Your user name also appears in your public profile, which is accessible from your personal address: http://members.agentsolo.com/username/

In exceptional cases, you may ask the Agentsolo.com team to change your user name. Please contact the assistance service and mention your old user name and the new user name you’d like.

How can I change my profile that appears on AgentSolo.com?

You can change your profile by going to the section My Activities > My Profile. You can update and change your business information, your professional experience, education, and so forth. Please note that you must log on before accessing the data in your profile

Why can’t I add my e-mail address to my profile?

AgentSolo.com is a professional contact network and a platform for negotiating projects. To promote the use of the tools offered on AgentSolo.com, members may not post their e-mail address.

You may build a profile to gain more visibility on AgentSolo.com and create a portfolio to showcase work samples. The private messaging system allows you to communicate with other members. A system for submitting “quotes” allows you to provide services by responding to projects available on AgentSolo.com.

We kindly ask you to respect the framework for negotiation and communication provided by AgentSolo.com, which offers certain privileges for Solo Agent Premium Members and Buyers. By respecting the privileges reserved for members who pay for the service, you help us keep the basic service for Solo Agent Guests free of charge

My logo (or photo) does not appear (or is not displayed correctly) in my profile.

The logo or photo that you wish to post in your profile must respect the following criteria:
- GIF or JPEG format with the corresponding extension (.gif or .jpg)
- 50 kB maximum
- 150 x 150 pixels maximum
